چکیده

End cutting edges of tool determine machining quality the bottom surface slot in end-milling CFRP. However, due to anisotropy and heterogeneous CFRP, also semi-closed characteristic blind slots, end are more vulnerable wear than peripheral under strong abrasive fibers, leading poor thereby decreases assembly performance components. This paper aims reveal laws mechanisms edge which serves conditions In order obtain major forms edge, tool’s structure removal characteristics CFRP analyzed. For acquiring accurately, slot-milling experiments conducted, quantitative characterization each form is proposed. According obtained from experiments, combining with associated relationships form, revealed, also, influences on surface’s got. The results show that there three all including corner wear, cutting-edge flank wear. Concretely, rapid; radius fluctuating tends decrease, while face wearing constantly. conclusions this study can provide foundations for further studies suppression

Effect of Fiber Surface Treatment on Wear Characteristics of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6 Composites

Ozone modification method and air-oxidation were used for the surface treatment of polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based carbon fiber. The surface characteristics of carbon fibers were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The interfacial properties of carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6 (CF/PA6) composites were investigated by means of the single fiber pull-out tests. As a result...
